Devil’s Night Release Date: June 19, 2001 Label: Interscope / Shady Records Devil’s Night is the debut album by Detroit hip hop group D12, released on June 19, 2001 and executive produced by Eminem. The album’s title comes from the Devil’s Night tradition, recognized in and around Detroit. The album produced two singles: “Purple Pills” and “Fight Music”. The album featured a hidden track by Eminem called “Girls”, which is a diss track aimed at Limp Bizkit, DJ Lethal, and Everlast. Devil’s Night was also the first album to be released on Eminem’s Shady Records label, although the label has been active since 1999. |

Curtain Call: The Hits Release Date: December 6, 2005 Label: Interscope / Aftermath / Shady Curtain Call is a 2005 greatest hits compilation album by the rapper Eminem. It collects Eminem’s most popular songs, as well as four new tracks; a live version of “Stan” featuring Elton John, plus new songs “Fack”, “When I’m Gone” and “Shake That” featuring Nate Dogg, the latter two of which were released as singles and would become top ten hits. It was released on December 6, 2005 under Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment. It reached #1 on several charts, including the UK and the US. A special edition was also released which included a second CD, named ‘Stan’s Mixtape’, which included a selection of seven songs not included on the main album. |
